All wine lovers would love to have a real wine cellar in their homes to properly store their wines and to display them in style. 3) Maintenance. Unlike water heaters and air conditioning units, wine cellar refrigerators or coolers require consistent maintenance. Depending on a number of factors, the unit will run for about half the time, every day. This kind of energy output makes the life span of these systems finite.

4) A vapor barrier and insulation will need to be installed. It is very important to keep the humidity level correct in order to keep the ideal temperature in the cellar consistent. So too is keeping the hot air out and the cool air in. Therefore, a vapor barrier and insulation must be put in.
